In partnership with OCIPED, this OMG Seminar will present case studies and market information on specific foreign markets, enabling Oman-based manufacturers to learn more about export possibilities and opportunities to expand their business overseas.
 
Manufacturing for a Low Carbon Future
Can we manufacture without emitting greenhouse gases, using non-renewable materials or generating waste? Speakers at this OMG Seminar will consider how we might change the way goods are made in order to reduce their overall environmental impact. Indeed, this event aims to explore the contributions that local manufacturers can make to meeting the 80% cut in global carbon emissions recommended by climate scientists to avoid catastrophic climate change. Broadly, this OMG Seminar will focus on opportunities for local manufacturers to reduce demand for energy, and technologies that offer a future low carbon energy supply.
